The Cecilia Zino Care Centre receives children taken from their families for reasons that prevent their normal growth and safety.
Currently it carries out its activity in the old facilities of the Cecilia Zino Foundation Hospital.
In 2018, with the support of the Order of Architects, a national competition was launched for the project of the new facilities to be built on Foundation property at Rua João Paulo II in Funchal.
